ETSB wants to advance the concept Sharia Compliant Contractor as a business model that serves as a platform for the economic development of Muslims. The foundation of SCC is based on the “Muslim Project, For Muslims, By Muslims” approach which focuses on the construction and maintenance of projects, mosques, suraus, religious schools, sharia courts, waqf development and others which are by the Maqasid Sharia guidelines. The implementation method is through open tenders for projects that require contractors to have a SCC certificate from the Islamic Religious Council or Islamic Religious Department.
