Job Overview

We are searching for a Senior MEP Engineers to join us for leading, managing, and developing Mechanical / Electrical Estimators to provide material takeoff as requested by client’s requirements and formatting. Our company deliver HVAC, electrical and plumbing quantity takeoff works for Makkah Mosque Expansion Project.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Understand the complete project estimate.
• Able to prepare quantity take-offs on various projects.
• Reviewing construction drawings and understanding scope of work.
• Reading and comprehension of construction documents, such as drawings and specifications.
• Full knowledge of product/ materials and equipment to be used in various systems
• Generation of summaries needed from the client.
• Complete the takeoff, using on-screen computer estimating, within time deadlines.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members in order to ensure overall accuracy.
• Mentor and review work of group leaders.
• Meet project proposal due date schedules.
• Delivers reports and follows-up with the client.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Architecture / Quantity Surveyor.
• Skilled with reviewing MEP Construction drawings is an added advantage.
• Ability to make accurate judgments and calculations is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
• Estimating experience (quantity takeoffs, purchasing accounting; engineering design knowledge and project management experience is plus)
• Expert in AutoCAD program.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu, Plan Swift, STACK or any related estimating software is an added advantage.
• Excellent Computer skills with MSOffice Word/Excel applications and organizational skills.
• Possess excellent English written and verbal communications skills.
• Able to start immediately is an added advantage.

This is a dynamic platform designed to provide undergraduates from related disciplines with a hands-on experience in the Engineering Consultant industry. Undergraduates will gain the experience in the real workplace environment.

Requirements;

1. Malaysian student pursuing an undergraduate degree in higher learning institutions in Malaysia, in related disciplines where internship is a mandatory part of course completion.
2. Internship participation for a minimum duration of three (3) months.
